Hugh Jackman Mustaches Up as Blackbeard in 'Pan' - PHOTOS
In addition to that Peter Pan musical set to air live on NBC, another live-action adaptation is in the finishing stages from Joe Wright and Warner Bros.
The titular Pan will sadly feature no singing (or a singing Christopher Walken), but does star a fearsome looking Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard.

Unlike other adaptations which see Peter during and after his adventures, Pan is an origin story described by director Joe Wright as "[not] exactly the Neverland story you know."
The film -- which has been pushed back to a July 17, 2015 release date -- also stars Garrett Hedlund as Hook, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Amanda Seyfried as Mary, and Levi Miller as Peter Pan.
