Bryan Singer Files to Dismiss Sexual Abuse Charges

Last month, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer was slapped with a several lawsuits accusing him of sexual assaulting teenage boys. Accusations which he has denied.

Now, Singer has officially filed a motion to have these charges dismissed in court.

Evidence submitted includes proof that Singer was not in Hawaii when the alleged assault took place, statements by the victim in a similar case in 2000 where he said he never took "any trips outside the continental U.S." and was never abused by anyone but those defendants and the argument that the Hawaii court has no jurisdiction.

Another man the victim accused, David Neuman, has already filed a motion to dismiss which will be heard in court on July 28 in Hawaii.

As a result of these charges, Singer has cancelled all media appearances for the newest film in the X-Men franchise.
