Randy Jackson quits 'American Idol' again

Randy Jackson has quit American Idol for a second time. He said it was the perfect time to leave the show after thirteen seasons.

Randy Jackson first quit the show in 2013 as judge after Season 12, only to return in Season 13 as a mentor. He replaced Jimmy Iovine who sold Beats to Apple for $3 billion in 2014.

Randy said in a statement:

"After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave “American Idol". I’m proud to have been a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original, “Idol” started it all. Onto what’s next."

I wonder what's next for Randy Jackson.
