Nick Cannon is Writing Children's Poetry Now

Nick Cannon isn't letting his separation from Mariah Carey stop him, instead he's moving full steam ahead and is hard at work writing a book of poetry. For children.

According to the Associated Press, the book will be called Neon Aliens Ate My Homework and Other Poems and has a current release date of March 2015. Scholastic added that the collection of poems will feature black and white illustrations from street artists and will combine Cannon's love of poetry and hip-hop.

As Cannon himself admitted, he's been writing poems and stories since he was 8-years-old and has another book on the way in October (Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas) inspired by his twins.

If he does not dress up as a neon alien as some sort of strange promotion via performance art to sell this book we are going to be very disappointed.
