Nick Cannon Confirms Separation From Mariah Carey

Yesterday (Aug. 21) saw reports that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were heading toward divorce, and later Cannon confirmed their separation.

"There is trouble in paradise," Cannon explained to Yahoo. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."

While Cannon did not explain exactly why he and his wife were on the rocks, he did say that infidelity was not a factor for either party.

Added Cannon, "My main focus [right now] is my kids."

The couple tied the knot in 2008 and are parents to three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
