Macklemore performed a super secret show over the weekend with Ryan Lewis in their hometown of Seattle, and that would have been all well and good if Macklemore wasn't disguised as a walking Jewish caricature.
Not that he understands why that could possibly be offensive.

When criticism arose (including a hilarious one from Seth Rogen) because of his costume choice, Macklemore went on the offensive, saying he doesn't understand why his dress up bothered anyone because he just threw on random costume pieces.

Which all combined sort of made him look like a giant douche trying to emulate a caricature regularly used in Nazi propaganda during WWII.
