Macklemore Doesn't Think Macklemore Deserved Those Grammys

At Sunday night's Grammy Awards, Macklemore, his shaved head and his repeated insistence that he's not gay took home four Grammys that he doesn't think he deserved.

Specifically, he took home Best New Artist, Best Rap Album for 'The Heist,' Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for 'Thrift Shop.'

But he felt guilty, so he found a way he could keep his Grammys but feel bad about them at the same time, by texting Kendrick Lamar and telling the rapper that he really should have won.

As he explained in his caption of the text which he later posted to Instagram, "My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album... I'm honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO. And that's taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it's proper respect.. With that being said, thank you to the fans. You're the reason we were on that stage tonight. And to play Same Love on that platform was a career highlight. The greatest honor of all. That's what this is about. Progress and art. Thank you. #grammys"
