Gokul Venkatachalam and Vanya Shivashankar win 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee

For a second year in a row, the Scripps National Spelling Bee ended in a tie! Gokul Venkatachalam and Vanya Shivashankar were the last two standing as the competition ran out of words to spell and were declared co-champions.

Gokul and Vanya are the 92nd winners of the spelling bee. Congratulations!

Gokul did not even ask for clues when he spelled the last word nunatak.

I love the spelling bee so much.

Last year, Sriram Hathwar and Ansun Sujoe were co-champions.
