Drake Bell Makes Transphobic Comment About Caitlyn Jenner + Gets Pwned By the Internet
Proving that he doesn't understand anything, Drake Bell took to Twitter in the wake of Caitlyn Jenner's reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair to say that he would still call her Bruce.
Bell had the internet in an uproar when he tweeted (and then deleted) the missive which read, "Sorry….Still calling you Bruce."
He later tried to backtrack on his comments, writing, "I'm not dissing him! I just don't want to forget his legacy! He is the greatest athlete of all time! Chill out!"https://twitter.com/FunnyThingsUK/status/605514403581186048
Unfortunately for Bell, the backlash was already in full swing (see more below), and his improper use of pronouns did nothing to help him.
Remember kids, tweets can be deleted, but screenshots are forever.
