Billy Crystal to Pay Tribute to Robin Williams at the Emmys
There will definitely be a Robin Williams tribute at the upcoming Emmy Awards, delivered by none other than fellow comedian Billy Crystal.
The award show's executive producer said Crystal was an obvious choice for the presentation since he and Williams have teamed up multiple times for Comic Relief. As they explained, "We are working to give Robin Williams the proper and meaningful remembrance he so well deserves."It was also announced that Sara Bareilles would perform during the In Memoriam segment of the program airing on Aug. 25.
Robin Williams tragically took his own life last week (Aug. 11) at the age of 63. He left behind quite a legacy which the Emmys plan to honor appropriately.
