Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder Join 'NCIS: New Orleans'

The latest spin-off of the mega-hit CBS series NCIS is expanding. The cast of NCIS: New Orleans just got a little bigger with the addition of both Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder.

Zoe is set to play the female lead alongside Scott Bakula. The JAG alum will play Special Agent Brody, a fish-out-of-water character from the Midwest.

CCH Pounder is set to play Dr. Wade, the eccentric medical examiner. She can currently be seen on Sons of Anarchy.

We previously reported that Scott Bakula has been cast as the male lead.

NCIS: New Orleans will focus on the NCIS cases in the Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana region.

NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg and star Mark Harmon will executive produce the spinoff.
