Looks like the next X-film to follow X-Men: Days of Future Past will be X-Men: Apocalypse.

DoFP  director Bryan Singer tweeted the news with the cryptic message:

Which hopefully means the film will be out in 2016 (May 27, 2016 according to Box Office Mojo) and will follow the much-loved Age of Apocalypse arc, which sees the arrival of an alternate timeline caused by time travel which is run by the villainous and immortal mutant Apocalypse.

Spoilers: it's awesome.

It's seems like a smart move to put the movie out in 2016, especially considering the glut of superhero films already scheduled for 2015. Like that Batman/Superman one and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

So where's your excitement level on a scale of Silver Age Dazzler (1) to Wolverine (10)?
