The X Factor UK 2014 Spoilers: Have the Four Wildcards Been Revealed?

Live Shows for The X Factor UK 2014 begin on Saturday, and with them, a huge wildcard twist, as each of the four judges will pick one wildcard act for one of their fellow judges. Any act that earned a chair in the Six-Chair Challenge or made it through to Judges' Houses will be eligible to be brought back. Louis Walsh selects for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's Girls, Cheryl selects for Simon Cowell's Over 25s, Simon selects for Mel B's Boys, and Mel B selects for Louis Walsh's Groups.

So which act did each judge pick to advance to the live shows? British publication The Daily Star has reportedly spoiled the wildcard choices, and although spokespersons for The X Factor refused to comment on the story, it wouldn't be the least bit surprising to learn that these were the real picks. In fact, these four acts should seriously liven up the season, to where I think we might finally have a season that could give Series 7 a run for its money.

Without furthier adieu...

SPOILERS!

Louis Walsh chooses to bring back Lola Saunders for Cheryl's Girls

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini chooses to bring back Stevi Ritchie for Simon's Over 25s

Simon Cowell chooses to bring back Jack Walton for Mel B's Boys

Mel B chooses to bring back Overload for Louis Walsh's Groups

I honestly don't know which act I'm more stoked about, if these are true. Lola never should have been cut, and she has the potential to be Cheryl's most successful girl. Meanwhile, I could understand why Jack Walton was cut, given the huge amount of competition in the Boys category, but I think he could be a real dark horse. Really, I couldn't be more thrilled if he's the wildcard pick.

As for Stevi Ritchie, well...one of the reasons The X Factor UK is my favorite talent show on TV is because not everybody who advances necessarily is the obvious pick. Sometimes you get these silly acts, and they end up making for a more interesting season. Sure, they might end up outlasting vastly superior singers, but sometimes these sorts of acts can surprise you too.

But the act I'm most excited for is Overload, who didn't even make it to Judges' Houses because Louis Walsh is downright crazy. THIS could be the act to watch, since they tick all the boxes for a potential hit-selling act. Granted, they have serious competition within their category from Only the Young and, specifically, the eight-piece boy band. But I'm loving this pick, if these picks pan out.

Again, they aren't confirmed, but then, it's not as if The X Factor is going to officially confirm these picks ahead of Saturday night's show anyway. So get to speculating in the comments, and let us know what you think about these picks! Do you hope they're true? Or do you hope we get some other choices instead?
