The X Factor UK 2014 Results: The Six Boys Advancing to Judges' Houses Are... (VIDEO)
Tonight was night two of the three-night Boot Camp event on The X Factor UK 2014, as the Six Chair Challenge continued. And while this episode seemed longer than last night's, it was actually far more straightforward, as Mel B whittled down the Boys category with remarkable efficiency, while Simon...well, I don't really know what Simon was doing.
It seems as though Simon is basically trolling at this point, giving a seat to Stevi Ritchie and the insufferable Raign while cutting Scarlett Quinn (who I could take or leave, honestly). However, on the plus side, he gave seats to Ben Haenow and the wonderful Janet Grogan. He also gave a seat to Jay James, leaving us on the cliffhanger of which singer in Simon's Top 6 Jay would replace. It's a decent enough cliffhanger, especially considering that we still have some other performances to go for Simon's Over 25s. It should be interesting to see how he whittles down the group to a final six, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't far more interested in seeing Louis's groups, even though I expect nothing but novelty acts to get through. But the picking is finished for Mel B's Boys, as we've gotten the final six confirmed.
So how did it all play out? Find out below!

Among those eliminated from the competition were Joe Slater, Hayden Leeman, Ben Quinlan, Geoff Mull, Charlie Martinez and, in the most controversial cut of the episode, Charlie Brown (a cut so shocking, Simon declared Mel B "crazy").
However, that wasn't the only shocker. Although a bunch of boys were cut, we haven't seen the last of some of our favorites, as the judges decided to put together an absolutely insane, unwieldy EIGHT-PERSON BOY BAND!
Yes, eight boys will now be in a group together (because it worked oh-so-well for inTENsity).
Barclay Beales, Casey Johnson, Charlie Jones, Chris Leonard, Jake Sims, James Graham, Reece Bibby and Tom Mann are in the unnamed group that is advancing to the Groups phase of the Six Chair Challenge, and I'd be shocked if the judges didn't try to muscle them through to Judges' Houses, at the very least. I have no idea how eight guys are supposed to work in a boy band, but I'll be interested to see them try. This has disaster written all over it, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
