The X Factor Israel winner Rose Fostanes granted artist visa

Rose Fostanes who won The X Factor Israel can now work in Israel as a singer.

Fostanes is a caregiver in Israel and that did not allow her to work as a singer. However, the Immigration Authority has granted her an artist visa and she can now sing for a living in Israel.

Good news all around. I'm very happy for her.

From Reuters:

A Filipina caregiver who won Israel's version of the X-Factor last week will be allowed to stay in the country and pursue a music career, the Immigration Authority said on Monday.

The interior minister has now decided to grant Fostanes an artists' visa, which would allow her to stay in Israel and work as a singer, the Immigration Authority said in a statement.

"It has not yet been decided how long Fostanes could stay for," an immigration official added.
