Here is the recap and results video for The X Factor Australia Live Decider 6 on September 15, 2014.
The results are in, and one judge will lose an act, just one week removed from the reveal of the vote rankings. Last week, Jason Heerah was in danger, surviving the Bottom 2 sing-off against Sydnee Carter. However, the vote rankings revealed that Caitlyn Shadbolt and Tee were near the bottom right with them. With Sydnee now gone, will one of those two find themselves in the bottom 2?

Because Natalie Bassingthwaighte is absent, we're going to automatic deadlock, since the judges are incapable of reaching a unanimous decision. So Dannii Minogue is exempt from having to vote, which...wait, have they ever done it this way before? This just seems like such a strange occurrence. Ah well, the public is deciding this one, folks!

THOUGHTS
Between these two singers, I'm actually okay with Australia's choice. I think Rochelle's time was up, and Caitlyn had slightly more still left to offer to the competition as a potential star. I don't think she'll win or anything, but then, Rochelle wasn't going to either. Still, Rochelle was a fighter in the competition, so even when I didn't love her performances, I definitely respected the work she put into them. I think we're in a bit of a lull in the competition as we have at least two more weeks of fairly obvious results, if not three, before crunch time really begins. Then again, you really never know what could happen on a show like this. Hell, before tonight, Caitlyn and Rochelle hadn't even touched the Bottom 2. Yet it all changed overnight. So it goes in singing competitions.
