The results are in, and another act will bite the dust. Last week, Caitlyn Shadbolt just barely survived her second consecutive trip to the Bottom 2, as Tee bid farewell to the competition. Will it be three weeks in a row for Caitlyn? And if so, will she be able to survive again? Will we have a different Bottom 2, this time around? Who will go home in sixth place on The X Factor Australia 2014?

THOUGHTS
That was seriously a close one. Yes, Jason was one of my favorites in the competition, but not at the expense of Reigan. I love the guy, but I have NO IDEA what Dannii or Redfoo were doing voting against Reigan in the first place. That could have ended so disastrously, and the only rationale I could possibly have for Dannii deciding to vote against Reigan is 1) to stir up drama, 2) to prevent Jason from going home in a unanimous decision, 3) to eliminate probably the biggest obstacle to a Brothers 3 victory. Of course, maybe she's just a really big Jason fan, but I'm the biggest Jason fan on this blog, and I would have still sent him home first. It just felt like such a tactical move on Dannii's part, and it rubs me the wrong way. And I'm just as annoyed with Foo for taking it to deadlock. Even with two of my acts in the bottom, I'd still have sent Jason home, since he could presumably still win with Reigan, whereas Jason has made multiple Bottom 2 appearances. Either way, this result is just so baffling and infuriating. Seriously, how is Caitlyn in the Top 5?! Her popularity is completely inexplicable to me.
