Well, this was pretty much the result most were expecting. But I'm still impressed by THIRD D3GREE. They're not only insanely talented, but they're a total class act. Taylor also acquitted himself well here, showing his characteristic humility. The two acts had a hell of a sing-off to boot, and I found both judges' emotions over their respective acts to be fairly touching.
All things considered, it should be a decent grand final next week. Not perfect, necessarily, but interesting enough for there to be some measure of doubt as to how this whole thing ends. I would imagine it's entirely between Dami and Jai at this point, although I wouldn't necessarily count Taylor out just yet.
