The biggest, strongest dudes in the world battled it out to see who could snatch and jerk the best. The Iranians captured both the gold and silver medals in this event, as well as the silver in the men's discus, giving them a fair claim to strongest country in the world.
The winning lift by Behdad Salimikordasiabi was a snatch of 208kg & clean & jerk of 247kg. For the metrically challenged that's a bit over 544lbs.
