Woody Allen Wants to Pen a Rebuttal to Dylan Farrow's Open Letter

Woody Allen wants to respond to his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow's New York Times op-ed piece about how he allegedly sexually assaulted her and the Times has said sure, why not.
"They asked and we said, 'Yes, send it in,'" New York Times' editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal said of Allen's request to pen a rebuttal.
When asked if this rebuttal is concrete and will be published, the editor responded, "It comes down to the editing process."
He continued, "Normally, we don't publish a direct response. In this case, it was so personal, we thought that we should."
Read: we know a lot of people would read that and it would make us a lot of money so we would be stupid to say no.
In his initial response to Dylan's open letter -- which brought up sexual assault allegations that originally surfaced 20-years-ago -- Allen responded (via his lawyer), "It is tragic that after 20 years a story engineered by a vengeful lover resurfaces. The one to blame for Dylan's distress is neither Dylan nor Woody Allen."
They are of course referring to Allen's ex and Dylan's mother Mia Farrow, who they allege gave her daughter false memories of sexual abuse in order to punish Allen for his relationship with Mia's other adopted daughter Soon-Yi.
