Another 'Wolverine' Film Is in the Works

Based on the overseas sales of The Wolverine, James Mangold is working on yet another film in the franchise, sure to be filmed with plenty of SNIKTS! and people being called Bub.

The Hugh Jackman-helmed film was the second-highest grossing movie in the X-Men franchise, earning $413 million worldwide ($132 domestic and $280 international) so money doesn't lie friends.

According to Deadline, Mangold is currently working on a treatment for the film alongside producer Lauren Shuler Donner -- who worked on other X-Men films -- but the details are very hush hush right now.

As Mangold previously said in July about the offer for a direct a sequel, "If it presented me with the opportunity as this one did then yes ... Certainly any project with Hugh is enticing, but if someone came to me, or I came up with a strategy that stays as inventive and as exciting, I wouldn’t hesitate to do another one."
