Winter Olympics Wallop American Idol on Wednesday
For the first time in 6 years, American Idol was not #1 in the ratings. Overnight ratings showed the Winter Olympics with 30.1 million viewers (9.0 rating/22 share) vs. American Idol's 18.4 million (6.9 rating/17 share).
Kinda hard to read this one. The Winter Olympics do just come once in four years so it's not a normal situation we are looking at. Let's see if American Idol can recover next week for the first voting rounds.
