Will Smith won't be X Factor judge says Simon Cowell

Why does Will Smith's name keep coming up in these X Factor judge rumors? Maybe Will Smith himself is interested and wants to let people know. Or the British media -- where all these "reports" are coming from -- just want to play jokes on Simon Cowell.

I really don't see an upside if Will Smith is a judge. It's just all weird. Again, unless he wants in on the show for some reason (maybe for his daughter Willow).

From Extra:

"I would love to work with Will, but I don't know where this story has come from, because we have never even spoken," Cowell told "Extra's" Terri Seymour.
