Will Paula Abdul ever return as a judge on American Idol? - Poll Results

Less than two weeks after Paula Abdul's announcement that she had quit American Idol, the feeling of inevitability has set in. In our poll, the "No's" win. Rickey.org readers do not think Paula Abdul will ever return as a judge.

I wish I was wrong, and anything can still happen (it may all be a ploy as some of us suspect), but I think that Paula will not return in January. In fact, if the show did take her back, I would feel a bit disappointed after all the drama of the past few days. For Fox: Was it really necessary to play with our emotions just to get her back? And for Paula Abdul: She would look like she was all about the money and not the music and nurturing undiscovered talent. At least now she is going away with dignity, instead of coming back as a greedy celebrity who wanted $10 million a year while all of us are having a hard time during this recession.

So yeah, I am moving on and looking forward to the future whatever that may be.

I think that Paula Abdul's fans should respect her decision not to return to American Idol by not letting this drag on with petitions and what not. She does not want to be a judge on the show anymore. Let us support her in other ways (like here jewelry line). (Be a contestant on Dancing with the Stars Paula!)
