Episode Recap
Photo: ABCThe episode starts with Ulysses's murder via falling off the horse. Kam is relieved he is alive, but is not so relieved on where he goes from here. The three locations for them to search this week are Ulysses' last whereabouts, crime scene, and outdoor morgue. Ronnie thinks with 8 left, Kam is the killer. The two factions are (Kam, Cris, and Lindsey) and (Ronnie, Geno, Melina, Sasha and Dana). Geno says they need to turn one of the other against so the other two will be scared.
Geno and Kam go to the crime scene. They find a snake in the saddle. They also see a bird cage with a string tied to a post. It is assumed that's how the bird was released and it spooked the horse. Dana, Lindsey and Melina see the body. They cant find a single scratch. There is a post nearby that lists depictions of snakes, some of which are stated as poisonous. They see two punctures on him and tiny bite marks. Dana sees something on the lower right calf but doesn't tell the others. Sasha, Cris and Ronnie go to the horse stables. The see all of them are named for Greek gods except one, Oleander. Ronnie sees a metal bowl with ground flowers. He decides to hide that from Cris but she saw him.
Everyone is afraid of ostracizing themselves from their team. Lindsey and Cris both don't trust each other. The other team thinks that Cris is indebted to Kam. Melina doesn't think they can do strategy and game plan at the same time. Geno goes and talks to the other team and invites one of them to the other side. Lindsey reveals she never decided to be on a team, but she thinks the best is to stay with Cris and Kam. Kam thinks Geno is being desperate and is the killer. The groups remain divided and they plot to take each other down.
They both trade information, notably Dana with the snake bite on his calf. Lindsey didn't memorize the snake chart but Melina did. Everyone on her team thinks the snake was poisonous except for Sasha. Cris is still trying to figure out if Lindsey is playing both sides and withholds some information to see if Lindsey will get it from the other team.
The killer send the riddle by pony. After reading they all run into the forest following different signs. They all come back with puzzles and begin working on them. The puzzle was a map to show them the next spot. Kam is the first to the building and only one person can go in at a time. The building is filled with snakes. A table reads place the murder table here but can't find it for all of the snakes. Time is up and he has to leave and Geno goes followed by others. When it's Cris's turn she sees nails in the floor board with blood and does puts it on the table. She wins and knows exactly how the murder happened. The other team is scared for their lives now.
Ronnie's team talks about the poisonous snake, but they are really skeptical. Cris and her team are talking and she says a snake bite would be too easy. She talks about the bloody nails and the information she withheld. Kam says for the first time he thinks he knows about the murder and they are in a good place. Sasha goes and pulls Cris away, but Cris doesn't want it to get to Geno since he only gave her and Kam a little bit of information. She tells her everything is in the last known whereabouts and it wasn't a snake bite. Ronnie goes to talk to them as well but Kam says it is too late since they had everyone in their group but them. Cris wants to bait Ronnie to her team by giving him information she gave Sasha. Ronnie remains over there with the other team and doesn't come back before the bell rings. The remaining members of his team are left in fear.
Everyone is back around a camp fire and nervous. Sasha says this is the first time she has serious doubts about stating her case. Sasha remembers Oleander bushes. Cris and Ronnie state this as well and talk about the plank and nails. Geno, Lindsey, and Kam talk about the birds and trip wire. Geno and Dana say the snake bite. Sasha knows Oleander but not how it happened. Melina knows about the Oleander and Lindsey thinks someone hit him with a plank. Cris ends up having the best case and is the first spared.
Gilles reads the killer's note of the murder and talks about plucking oleander. They prepared a deadly dose and put it on the plank, making a homemade snake weapon - which was due to the bite mark in his jeans. A diversion was made because of the birds, and the killer hit Ulysses on the leg, causing him to fall off the horse. Ulysses was bitten on the right leg (Dana's clue), and the snake was non-poisionous (what Sasha thought).
Kam and Lindsey are spared first, leaving their whole team safe. For some reason Kam has made two remarks about wanting Sasha gone next. Sasha ends up being scared. She is upset because she knew the snake wasn't poisonous but her team told her she was wrong. Ronnie gets a spare, and is afraid tomorrow will be a dark day for him - looking like a sell-out and possibly losing his team. Melina gets a spare as well while Dana and Geno get scares. Their team is falling a part and they think that Ronnie offered them up.
Back at the manor, Dana regrets coming and says she is so misterable and exahusted mentally and physically. Sasha doesn't want to be the next victim, and doesn't want the people alongside her to leave, especially Dana - the one who she 100% trusts. Geno says the scared card has reginated his fire and passion and guarantees himself to leave with the moeny.
Everyone goes downstairs in the morning and see's Dana AND Sasha both scared. Both are still, Sasha sitting playing the piano and Dana leaning on the piano drinking wine.
WUT.
