Where's Rickey?

Apparently, Fantasia Barrino has taken over my blog. Over 99% of all the traffic arriving here are related to her. I put up some ads from Google's AdSense program to take advantage of the sudden popularity, and I've earned $10 over five days. Not bad really for a simple line of code. There are now 1,500 comments on the site, and the other day I thought, "Well, the blog has taken on a life of its own!" I have not edited any of the nasty/stupid comments, and just deleted the obvious repeat posts, but it's been getting unwieldy scrolling through the lists so I've just let it be. It's amazing how people do scroll down and write something after reading, but I don't have that much passion. With regards to the video and mp3 files, I've just kept everything under 4mb, and I have not gotten any e-mail regarding bandwidth issues since the last time.

So what now, Fantasia? I think at the moment, the blog has run its course. I really don't know what to do with it (although the next post will be an obvious rave about Fantasia's upcoming single). I will have to leave this be, but I still need an outlet for my own personal voice so I will need to do some adjusting. I'm not a brilliant programmer (but I'm still a genius) so converting all that has transpired during the American Idol 3 season into the Fantasia Shrine is actually improbable at this point.

With my knowledge of how Typepad works, in the next couple of weeks I will hijack the "rickey.org" URL again for myself, but will keep "rickey.org/blog" address for Fantasia. Hopefully I won't make a mess.
