Wentworth Miller Joins 'The Flash' as Captain Cold
Wentworth Miller is coming to the DC Universe.
The former star of FOX's Prison Break has been cast in The CW's upcoming series The Flash. Miller will play the role of Leonard Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold.
Captain Cold is a bad guy who's not terribly unlike Batman's nemesis Mr. Freeze, in that he packs a huge freeze gun, and leads a group of henchman (in this case, a pack of baddies called the Rogues). Hopefully, unlike Freeze, he won't be bringing
along with him.
Miller will guest star in the fourth episode of the Arrow spinoff's debut season this fall. “We’ll be seeing his origin and the origin of the Rogues,” said executive producer Greg Berlanti at the TCA panel for the show.
Miller joins a cast of high-profile additions that already includes Robbie Amell as one half of the entity known as Firestorm. In short, we couldn't possibly be any more excited for this, as it's shaping up to be the fall's most interesting new show. And if you're looking for more hype, just check out the latest promo, centering on Iris West's insanely overprotective father. It's got Jesse L. Martin and everything! (Kind of a big fan)
