Welcome to Yankee Nation

So beginning yesterday, I am a bonafide New York Yankee fan. I don't have the words to explain the feeling of walking into Yankee Stadium for the first time. I know that if I had walked in there when I was a boy I would have been a baseball fan for life.

Yesterday was one of the $5-days for the tier boxes (the seats UP there, above right field) so I was able to get in cheap. But it was very well worth it, even if the Yankees suffered a miserable loss. I even came in wearing my new A-Rod #13 t-shirt (which costs more than the ticket). I am now planning on watching another game some time, and getting a #11 Sheffield t-shirt to wear. Heck, I'll watch another game in another field... The only other big sports game I watched live was a Lakers-Pacers game in Staples Center a few years ago. Now I was sitting just in front of the WALL at the very top and Shaq didn't look like Shaq up there. Comparatively, this Yankee game was so much better. I really enjoyed myself.
