WATCH: Jon Stewart Calls Out Fox News and MSNBC's Ed Schultz for Malaysia Airlines Coverage

The coverage of the Malaysia Airlines tragedy has been a fiasco, as cable news outlets have been mired in theories of everything from the Bermuda Triangle to black holes. But Jon Stewart isn't really concerned with the zany, balls-to-wall coverage by CNN. No, the Comedy Central pundit is far more interested in calling out Fox News and MSNBC's Ed Schultz. And it makes for some pretty damn amusing TV, as he went on one of his classic rants on The Daily Show.

Among Stewart's top criticisms were Geraldo Rivera's crude reenactment of the ways in which the Flight 370 passengers would have choked due to lack of oxygen, and Ed Schultz's decision to populate his MSNBC show with ridiculous diagrams, maps, viewer polls, and theories to support them. It's a powerful takedown from Stewart, who is clearly very deeply affected by how this tragedy is being twisted into a circus sideshow by the cable news media.
