'Walking Dead' Renewed for Fifth Season

AMC's hit zombie series The Walking Dead has been renewed for a fifth season and it's even keeping show-runner Scott Gimple.

Let's be honest, they haven't been able to hold down a show-runner in, well, ever.

Based on information from the Hollywood Reporter, the show will be coming back in 2014 for yet another season of blood, zombies and people standing around and talking.

Most likely because it's doing so good in the ratings game.

This is of course in addition to the spin-off which has absolutely nothing to do with the main cast of characters and merely takes place during the same zombie apocalypse. Sorry, walker apocalypse? Biter apocalypse?

Regardless, you can probably expect that to be shambling to a television near you in 2015 as creator Robert Kirkman rolls in money like Scrooge McDuck.
