W Sync 3M Springboard - London 2012 Olympics - Medal Results

If jumping off a 3 meter springboard and then doing a seemingly impossible number of flips and twists before hitting the water isn't difficult enough for you, then the Synchronized Springboard is your event.

In this event, not only do the divers have to perfectly excecute their difficult dives, but they have to execute them in perfect sync with their diving partner.

The dives are beautiful, graceful and athletic at the same time.  It's really almost hypnotic.  The Chinese team pulled away to a comfortable lead with their difficult dives and impressive synchronization, but the American team put up a good fight.  The battle for bronze was a close fight between Canada and Italy.
