'The Voice' wins an Emmy Award

The Voice won for Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards 2013!

I am so happy! We've been a fan of this show since day 1 and I'm glad that the Emmys have recognized it with an award. The Voice is the best!

The nominees for Outstanding Reality Competition Program were:

Dancing with the Stars
Project Runway
So You Think You Can Dance
The Amazing Race
The Voice
Top Chef

Season 5 of The Voice returns on Monday September 23, 2013 on NBC. I cannot wait! This win is a great promo for the show. Not only is The Voice the #1 singing competition show, it's now an Emmy Award winner, woohoo!
