The Voice Season 5 - Recap - Blind Auditions #2
Here we go! Who's excited???
Jacquie Lee - Back To Black - 16 year old from New Jersey!
The coaches are on a roll early with the banter! Love it!
Barry Black - What You Won't Do For Love - He's from Samoa!
Mike Unser - No chairs for the Christian dude. Ceelo Green regretted not pushing his button.
Destinee Quinn - Cowboy Take Me Away - Flower Alice Cooper Girl!
Cole Vosbury - Movin' On Up - YES! I like him! The Jeffersons Theme Song!
Holly Henry - The Scientist - AMAZING!!!
Sammy C. - Rapper. No chairs.
Morgan Mallory - No chairs.
Shaymari - No chairs.
Seth Cook - No chairs.
Austin Jenckes - Simple Man - Sob story, but he's good! *tears*
E.G Daily - Breathe - Carson Daly sent her an invite to audition. She's 51! She's a voice over actor. Bonus points from me for doing the Powerpuff Girls!!! Rugrats! Tommy Pickles! Peewee's Big Adventure!
Johnny Gray - All These Things That I've Done - Air Force guy. I loved this! I've got soul but I'm not a soldier!
Tessanne Chin - Try - She's from Jamaica. Her father is Chinese and Cherokee and her mother is English and Jamaican. Her husband is so cute. I want him.
I really liked this batch of auditions. The singers were all very solid vocalists and the sob stories were just right.
What I really love about The Voice is that every audition feels like the singer already won by being selected to be on the show. I found myself very happy for most of these guys who made it. The banter among the coaches -- though fun -- is secondary. It's like dreams come true when someone turns for you. I love it.
Go The Voice!
