The Voice 2014 - Instant Save Explained - Video

The Voice Instant Save returns next week!

The Voice is about to school American Idol again on how live tweeting is done for reality singing shows. Sure live tweeting JLo pictures from the set is cute, but there's nothing like tweeting and having it matter to the outcome of the show.

The Instant Save has been modified from last season.

On Tuesday, the Bottom 3 will be revealed and each of them will get a chance to sing for America's vote one last time.

Then on Carson Daly's queue, we all have 5 minutes to vote for one artist to save using hashtag #VoiceSave followed by the name of the artist you want to save. At the end, one artist is saved and the other two are eliminated.

Everyone will get a chance to vote, so if you are on the West Coast or Mountain time in the US just follow @nbcthevoice on Twitter for the names of the three artist you can vote for.
