VIDEO: Sam Woolf sings 'Hey There Delilah' on American Idol 2014

Sam Woolf sang "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's on American Idol XIII 2014 Season 13 Top 9.

Preparation

On the weekends he would perform at a cafe called McAllister's in Florida. He would jam by himself since he didn't really have friends who were musicians.
His stint on American Idol is his first "job".

Performance Video

Go Sam! He chose the right song which he was comfortable with. Just effortless. The girls will love him. Cute shirt! Hahaha. I hope he sings a more exciting song next time though.

My Rating: 4 / 5 stars

Judges Comments

Keith Urban: I like the tone of your voice. That's an interesting song.
Jennifer Lopez: You sounded great doing it.
Harry Connick Jr.: It was really smart to do the strip down arrangement. I didn't feel a whole lot of connection with the lyrics.
