VIDEO: Rascal Flatts Perform Intimate, Acoustic Rendition of Hit 'Rewind'

Rascal Flatts' latest single 'Rewind' is closing in on the top 10 of the charts, and along with the release of their equally-titled new studio album yesterday (May 13), the trio have worked on a live session called Rascal Flatts: Off The Record. Performed at Southern Ground Studios (owned by Zac Brown Band) in Nashville, this particular rendition of 'Rewind' shows a more intimate side of the group that is rarely observed.

According to Jay DeMarcus, bassist and keyboardist in the band, the song is a bridge between what fans know of them and what is coming next. With this being their ninth studio album, they might have felt like they were digging themselves into a rut musically, and must have realized it'd be a process to dig themselves in a new direction.

You can check out the acoustic performance of 'Rewind' below.
