VIDEO: Majesty Rose sings 'Shake It Out' on American Idol 2014

Majesty Rose sang "Shake It Out" by Florence + The Machine on American Idol XIII 2014 Season 13 Top 9.

Preparation

Majesty's pre-school kids thought she was special. She says she will continue to be an inspiration to them. Her confidence is the biggest obstacle that she needed to overcome.

Performance Video

I think Majesty's ambition is too big for her abilities right now. She tried and the arrangement favored her low key singing, but it only highlighted how big this song is for her. Oh well. Even her best friend looked so bored.

My rating: 3 / 5 Stars

Judges Comments

Judge	Critique
Keith Urban: That was a great song for you. You have to learn how to center.
Jennifer Lopez: Vocally it was all over the place, but performance it was a 10.
Harry Connick Jr.: You're so talented. I've been waiting for you to connect... you're so close to breaking through. Stylistically you are so diverse, it's hard for people to relate to you.
