VIDEO: 'The Killing' Is Back for Season 4
The Killing was initially canceled by AMC after a stellar, bounce-back third season, disappointing its small but passionate contingent of fans. However, Netflix came to its rescue, granting the show a six-episode fourth, final season. And now, the very first premiere trailer is here!
Season four is going to pick up right where the Season 3 finale left off, as detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) deal with the immediate fallout of Linden's impulsive actions towards her commanding officer. But that won't be all we get: this season's case features the massacre of a "picture perfect" family, and its only survivor -- a son named Kyle (Tyler Ross) who was shot in the head during the tragic incident. Multi-time Oscar nominee Joan Allen joins the cast this season as the headmaster of the all-boys military academy Kyle attends. The new season of The Killing doesn't premiere until Friday, August 1, but you can check out the full trailer below (H/T: TVLine.com):
