VIDEO: Joan Rivers loses it and walks out of CNN interview

Joan Rivers cut short a taped interview with Fredricka Whitfield on CNN Newsroom. The 81-year-old comedienne lost her cool when Whitfield continued her line of questioning that Rivers likes to be "controversial".

"It's not mean," said Rivers about her show Fashion Police which criticizes celeb dresses. "We are one of the few shows that say 'That's an ugly dress'."

When Whitfield got to the part about fur, Rivers lost it and walked out saying:

"This whole interview is becoming a defensive interview... I don't want to hear this nonsense. All you've done is negative. I've made people laugh for 50 years... You are not the one to do an interview with someone who does humor."

Oh dear. Joan Rivers must have had a rough day. I didn't think there was anything mean spirited about Fredricka Whitfield's questions. I guess she was not showbiz enough for Rivers?

Rivers is currently on a promo tour of her book Diary of a Mad DivaImage: http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=20-ref-1-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00G3L6MI4.
