VIDEO: Here's that full 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Teaser Trailer

Earlier today, I tossed up The Today Show's sneak peek at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles teaser, and if I'd thought the full trailer would hit later in the day, I probably would have just held off. Not because of the duplicate posting, but because I can only take being creeped out so much in one day.

The full, official teaser trailer for the Michael Bay-produced, Jonathan Liebesman-directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is like an Eldritch horror come to life. Granted, this might actually be the point, so I'll withhold judgment until I actually see the thing (and because I have a six-year-old nephew, I'm definitely seeing this thing). If nothing else, each of the Turtles seems characteristically distinctive, with Michaelangelo as goofy as ever, and Leonardo being the stone-faced, self-serious, all-business leader. So maybe this won't exactly be the worst thing in the world. That said, I'm not sure this needs an origin story that ties April O'Neil's father into the creation of the Turtles. Nor do I need to be left wondering where the hell Splinter is at. (But hey, optimism, Nick. Gotta stay positive.)
