VIDEO: Bill Murray Crashes Bachelor Party, Offers Advice on Finding 'The One'
Because he's a man for all seasons, Bill Murray crashed a bachelor party this weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. (We'd question why this happened or how, but we think Bill Murray is far past the need to be explained)
In crashing the private ruckus, Murray offered some sage advice for the future, imparting wisdom that is both humorous and insightful:
"You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living? Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they're for the uncommitted," Murray declared, before launching into a speech about how to find "The One."
"If you have someone that you think is The One, don't just sort of think in your ordinary mind, 'Okay, let's pick a date. Let's plan this and make a party and get married.' Take that person and travel around the world. Buy a plane ticket for the two of you to travel all around the world, and go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of. And if when you come back to JFK, when you land in JFK, and you're still in love with that person, get married at the airport."
Basically, finding someone with whom you can travel the world is the key to finding love. Provided you can spend all that time together without tiring of each other's company. But then, what is love but finding someone whose company you'll never quite grow weary towards? Sure, this is stuff we probably could have figured out on our own, but there's something far more authoritative about it when it comes out of Bill Murray.
