All Your 'Veronica Mars' Favorites Will Be Back for the Web Series

After Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas (no, not that one) announced a VM movie, he made Marshmallows everywhere even happier by confirming a web-series centered around fan favorite Dick Casablancas.

And now he's revealed that a whole bunch of cast members will be making appearances.

The series will be entitled Play It Again, Dick and will feature the actors playing versions of themselves as well as their characters on Veronica Mars.

Joining the cast will be Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls), Enrico Colantoni (Keith Mars), Percy Daggs III (Wallace Fennel), Daran Norris (Cliff McCormack), Francis Capra (Eli "Weevil" Navarro), Kyle Gallner (Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas), Christopher B. Duncan (Clarence Wiedman), Ryan Devlin (Duncan Kane), Chris Lowell (Piz, who will blessedly not be playing Piz), Ken Marino (who will also play himself but not his character Vinnie Van Lowe), Amanda Noret (Madison Sinclair) and Lisa Thornhill (Celeste Kane).

Phew.

The series will also see two new faces, Robert Buckley and Rose McIver, both of whom are currently working with Thomas on the comic book turned television series iZombie.

Also taking on roles are Wesley Chan, Philip Wang, Chris Dinh and two CW workers: Mark Pedowitz, president of the CW and Thom Sherman, The CW’s head of development.

As Thomas previously said of the series, "The web series will have more in common with Party Down tonally, but it will be about Ryan Hansen [Dick], or at least a version of Ryan Hansen, deciding to capitalize on the current Veronica Mars heat to get his own series on the air. He’ll try to pull his actor pals into the venture with varying degrees of success."
