Vampire Diaries - The Return - Season Premiere

(Spoiler Alert)

Omigosh this is so good! Why haven't I been watching this sooner?

Let me just say, since it's been too long for me since the Lost Boone days... Ian Somerhalder is hot!

I had no expectation watching Vampire Diaries tonight, since I missed Season One (and must, must watch it) -- but after a few seconds of tonight's episode, I was hooked. Takezo Kensei of Heroes got his fingers chopped off within three minutes of the episode - and I had no idea what he was doing there! I had to know.

Damon and Stefan are the hottie vampire brothers of Mystic Falls, Virginia and should be enough reason to watch the full hour. However, the whole Elena and Katherine being played by one actress Nina Dobrev is what makes the show so engaging. Both Elena (Stefan and Damon's human love interest) and Katherine (Stefan and Damon's vampire love interest from many many years ago) are somehow intertwined in their lives right now. It's just so good.

The video clip I've enclosed will only make sense to those who watched the season premiere, but it's just compelling TV. I think my little girl gene is kicking in again...

I love Damon so much - how could Elena and Katherine not love him? Argh. I need to jump into the TV and BE the love interest. LOL

I now have something to watch Thursdays at 8 p.m. since Survivor is moving to Wednesdays. Go Vampire Diaries! (And apparently there's a werewolf in the series also? Dying...)
