Vampire Diaries - Rose
Summary: Stefan and Damon learn surprising information about vampires in the distant past. Meanwhile, Jeremy helps Bonnie after she casts an exhausting spell, and Caroline tries to make life easier for Tyler.
Highlights:
Elena was kidnapped from last week's episode by Trevor and Rose. They became pawns of Katerina Petrova many years ago and have been on the run for a long time from the Originals whose trust they betrayed. Who are the Originals? Just very powerful and influential 500-year-old vampires...
Rose and Trevor arranged to give Elena to one of the Originals, Elijah, for forgiveness. Elena it turns out is a Petrova doppelganger and the Sun and Moon Curse could be broken if she was sacrificed using the moonstone. And apparently, the Originals want to break the curse. Omigosh! What a great twist.
Jeremy discovers that Elena was missing. Bonnie (who got nosebleeds because of too much magic) casts a location spell, and Stefan and Damon go on the road to save her. Bonnie casts another spell to send Elena a message that help is on the way -- then passes out! Oh no. She tells Jeremy not to tell anyone specially Damon because she doesn't want to appear weak.
Meanwhile, Caroline doesn't want Tyler to know what she knows about him -- but Tyler is insistent. Caroline ends up revealing that she is a vampire after Tyler tells her that she's a werewolf! LOL. Hopefully there is no romance here because I feel no connection between them. I really hope that Tyler ends up working with the Salvatorre brothers because werewolves and vampires should be friends and not fight each other (just like Twilight! Hahaha)
Stefan and Damon arrive just in time to save Elena from Elijah -- who forgives Rose but decapitates Trevor. Damon plunges a coatrack into Elijah who dies.
Back at Mystic Falls, Stefan apologizes to Damon for turning him into a vampire many years ago. Then Damon returns the favor by telling Elena that he loved her, but her brother deserved her more. However, he compels her to forget that he said that, because that's how Damon is.
Rose visits Stefan to offer her help and warn him that the Originals will come after Elena.
"They're doing it for him," Rose says.
"For who?"
"For Klaus."
(Dramatic music!)
Shot of Elijah waking up and pulling the coat rack out of his chest.
I love Vampire Diaries!
