Vampire Diaries - Masquerade
I love Vampire Diaries! This is like my favorite show right now.
So Caroline tells Stefan and Damon that Katherine confronted her. She said to tell them to hand her the moonstone in the masquerade ball at the Lockwood mansion, or else she'll start killing a lot of people.
"Can we just give her the moonstone?" says Caroline.
"No, Katherine's not getting dick," says Damon. Hahaha.
Stefan and Damon plot to kill Katherine during the ball instead. They enlist the help of everyone including Bonnie the witch and Elena's brother Jeremy -- but keep Elena out of the picture.
Of course, Katherine comes prepared as well -- and brings a witch to her side: Lucy who owes Katherine her life and has some other mysterious secret.
"You want me to break the curse (don't you)?" says Lucy.
"Let's just get it first," says Katherine.
Break the curse? What curse?!
Anyway, at the ball, Katherine ("disguised" as Elena by straightening her hair) sees Matt and compels him again to fight Tyler to the death (so that Tyler will trigger his werewolf curse). She meets up with Stefan, but he doesn't give her the moonstone because it's not with him. One of Tyler's girlfriends interrupts them -- and then Katherine kills her! Gasp!
Meanwhile, Bonnie senses the presence of Lucy the other witch in the party. What's going on here? Will there be a witch vs. witch? Bonnie sets up the room with Jeremy where Stefan and Damon plan to trap Katherine. Jeremy goes to Katherine and tells her that Stefan wants her to go to the lake to give her the moonstone.
Katherine doesn't buy it, and looks for Caroline at the party. She threatens her. Caroline gets scared and tells her that Bonnie has the moonstone in a room upstairs. Then blam -- Katherine walks into the room with a magic spell and can't get out. Nice one Caroline!
"Where is she?" asks Katherine.
"I did it! I really didn't think I would be able to fool you, but I did it!" says Caroline triumphantly.
Stefan and Damon then put stakes into Katherine -- however, Elena (who manages to go to the masquerade ball after she notices everyone is "gone" without her) is also hurt! They are magically linked -- by Lucy! Both Katherine and Elena are bleeding.
Jeremy runs up to the room and tells Stefan and Damon to stop because Elena is also getting hurt. What a twist in their plans. Katherine hurts herself anyway to hurt Elena even more -- she's so evil.
"The three of us together, just like old times. The brother who loved me too much and the one who didn't love me enough," declares Katherine.
"And evil slut vampire who only loved herself," says Damon. Hahaha!
Stefan tries to get information about Katherine's obsession with the moonstone but she's not budging. Is she running away from someone?

In another part of the house, Matt finally gets into a fight with Tyler. Caroline however is able to stop it and knocks Matt out. But then, Sarah -- another one of Tyler's girlfriends was also compelled by Katherine!
"Matt failed. If Matt fails, I can't" she says, then stabs Tyler.
Tyler pushes her and she hits her head on the desk and is dead! Tyler triggers the curse! Caroline witnesses Tyler's eyes turn into werewolf eyes. Oh no! Tyler!!!
Meanwhile, Bonnie knowing that a witch had cast a spell on Elena goes and looks for Lucy. When they meet, Lucy discovers that Bonnie has the moonstone -- then convinces her to hand it over because "she can trust her."
Lucy goes up to the room with Katherine and hands her the moonstone!
However, when Katherine gets it -- she collapses.
"You should have told me another witch was involved. She's a Bennett witch Katherine, but I'm sure you knew that," says Lucy.
Lucy apparently broke her spell on Elena and Katherine started feeling the effects of the stakes through her heart and body that Stefan and Damon inflicted on her earlier!
It turns out that Lucy and Bonnie were related and that was stronger than Lucy's loyalty to Katherine. Also: Bonnie and Jeremy romance on the horizon? Yes.
Finally, Damon locks Katherine in the tomb with the moonstone.
"You should have killed me," says Katherine.
"Death would have been too kind," says Damon.
Katherine tells Damon that Elena is in danger because she's a doppelgänger and needs to be protected, that's why she hasn't killed her.
"You're lying, you're always lying. Then I'll protect her," says Damon.
"You need me!" Katherine shouts desperately as Damon shuts the tomb.
I'm sure Katherine will be back -- but how scary to be locked in a tomb for a long long long time!
Then, Elena walking home, gets abducted by a guy in a mask.
Oh no! Could it be someone who is after Katherine?
I love this show! Ian Somerhalder is hot! Loving Michael Trevino as well... but really, all of them are great.
