V - The Siege - Recap
With Marcus still in critical condition, both sides of this war are ready for battle. Our 5th Column team look for Ryan to make him pay for his betrayal. He makes it easy for them when Anna sends him on another errand. This time she wants him to kill Eli to avenge Marcus. Eli is way too fierce to let that happen and catches Ryan before he can come anywhere near him. They tie him to a chair and punch him so many times his eye stays shut.
Erica has been benched at the FBI and Jack has been dismissed from the Church. It's going to be weird seeing him without his collar but maybe now he'll kick some ass and make out with Erica. Even if I love her with her ex husband. Or maybe I just love HIM. He's so pretty. Anna arranges for an anonymous call to be made to the FBI so that the building Eli is in is surrounded. Unfortunately, Erica is still inside and has to pose as a hostage to save herself. Anna wants both of Tyler's parents dead so that she can manipulate Tyler some more so she's thrilled when Joe ends up inside the building to save Erica.
Of course he didn't know that she doesn't need saving. They share a kiss. I love them together :(. I hate Anna so much. I hope someone kicks her ass soon. Jack also runs to Erica's aid when he sees on the news that she's been taken hostage. I have to stay, I was a little surprised how scared he was for her. I love that he cares about her like that. Eli is willing to die for this fight if it means getting Erica and his friend out safely. Nooo :( He's so suave and fierce. I love his suits. The V's blackmail Kyle to detonate all the explosives in the building. They have something on him so he finds himself in Ryan's situation.
He doesn't want to do it, I don't want him to do it, but he does it. He pushes the button and everything goes boom. Just as Erica, Joe and the hostages are leaving the building. Ryan and Eli are still inside. Would Ryan survive that? Doesn't look like Eli did. A shootout begins and Joe is killed in the middle of it. I HATE ANNA AND I HOPE SOMEONE KILLS HER EVENTUALLY AND IT'S PAINFUL. My heart just broke because I knew two of my favorite characters were the most likely to die. Sigh :( Tyler is heartbroken and blames Erica for what happened. He goes to live with Anna and Lisa. UGH. Why couldn't they have taken Tyler instead? He is the worst character in the history of dramatic television.
