V - Serpent's Tooth - Recap

Anna is still struggling with her developing human emotion. She fights to try and defeat it and begins to use her imprisoned mother for her knowledge on the subject. Anna's goal is to interbreed with the humans but she needs to rid the situation of human emotion. Also, she herself can't lay eggs anymore and now it's Lisa's turn. I'm sure Lisa is thrilled at the idea of making half human babies. Anna's mother Diana tells her that the key to humans is their soul. It's what makes them so complex. Anna is pretty happy about this news considering she sees the soul as an object that can be removed. Like a body part. I don't think that's how it works.

She sets off to rid herself, Joshua, and Ryan of a soul. Ana gives Ryan's baby daughter human skin to manipulate him into rejoining her. She acts as the baby's mother and chews up a dead rat to feed it and bond with it. Yuck! This chick is nuts. I don't know how well this bonding thing is gonna work when Anna is walking around forcing the baby to be in pain. She hopes the pain of his daughter will trigger something in Ryan. It looks like her plan is working. Is he a liability for the Fifth Column? And Oh No! Anna puts Joshua in a memory chamber and begins sifting through his memory to recover what he lost. Save Joshua! He's so dreamy. I ship him and Lisa.

Erica has a lot on her plate this week. She visits Sid and gives him a blood sample of Tyler's to have it analyzed so she can determine what the V's may have done to her during her pregnancy. Man, Elizabeth Mitchell is always having pregnancy woes isn't she? I miss Juliet. Father Jack inadvertently encourages a man to go through with being a suicide bomber outside a healing center. He's distraught over it and tries to help Ryan with his grief to make up for it. Erica investigates the suicide bombers who are showing up across the globe and are thought to be the works of the Fifth Column.

This is either very bad or very good for them. Fifth Column willing to take human lives doesn't sound too good to me. But half of our team want to recruit them. After all, there's only like..4 of them. 4 and a half if you count Chad. Bless him, he's trying to work through his failure at life and sabotage the V's efforts of recruiting humans. All he's succeeding in doing is putting himself on Marcus' radar. He's on a lot of people's radar.Everyone knows he's Anna's mouthpiece to the world and that has made him the target of the suicide bombers. Erica is able to save him once but for how long is he safe? He's pissed about being a target and blames Jack. Like it's his fault.

Erica and Kyle team up to find out everything they can about who is behind the bombings. Little do they know, their efforts are being undermined by Erica's partner Malik. Malik is still spying for the V's, stealing evidence, and being an overall threat to everything the FBI is trying to accomplish. She's not as sneaky as she thinks she is though. Kyle spots her and gives Erica the heads up. Chad spots her doing some dirty work and warns Jack that Erica is in danger. Unfortunately, Jack's call comes too late. Malik attacks Erica in the car and they get into a car accident. I hope Erica kicks Malik's ass next week.
