V: Pound of Flesh - Vcap

With the resistance growing stronger, Ana decides its time to take action and take steps to figure out who can be trusted and who has infiltrated the ships. She is testing the people of her ship for signs of empathy and human emotion by watching video clips of devastation and destruction. A human would react strongly to being exposed to these things while a Visitor would barely react. Another step the Visitors are taking is the start of a Live Aboard program. Humans are going to be selected to come live among the Visitors and share in their technology and all they have to offer. It's yet another way Ana is using to gain the trust of the humans. I'd be a bit apprehensive about going to live with a bunch of aliens but I guess it's how she thinks humans will see for themselves that the Vs can be trusted.
Erica, Jack, Georgie and Ryan are still working with Hobbes. He suggests that they send someone up into the ship to infiltrate. They argue for awhile over who should go up and finally decide on Ryan. Ryan hasn't told Valerie the truth about him and realizes he's putting her in danger with her pregnancy. She needs some medication only available on the V ship so Ryan makes the decision to go up into the ship. He gets himself a fake V identity, different V fingerprints and a new uniform and he's good to go. Almost. He reacts to a baby and is immediately followed by a V security person. He gets what he needs for his wife but is caught. He's thrown into the testing room and fails the emotion test. It's a tense few moments but phew! The two testers, including Joshua, are also members of the 5th column and they want to help Ryan. Joshua takes on the task of infiltrating Ana's message system and Ryan makes his way off the ship.
Georgie has always been the impulsive one of the group. Without telling anyone, he makes his way up to the ship to either save Ryan or wreck everything. Just as Ryan is about to get on a space vehicle back to the ground, a bald, mean looking Visitor security guy recognizes Ryan and all hell is about to break loose. Before baldy can make it to Ryan, Georgie kills him and sacrifices himself to get Ryan safely off the ship and back to his wife. :( Poor Georgie. At the end we learn he's not dead yet, but the Vs are slicing and dicing him like an alien steak. When they want answers they mean business.
Erica is still worried about Tyler and the amount of time he's spending with the Visitors. She knows they want him for something and she wants to get him away from them without calling attention to him. She takes Tyler to see his dad and he's thrilled. I'm thrilled because I love the actor who's playing him. Yippee. Erica wants Tyler's dad to take Tyler and let him stay with him for awhile. This way Tyler is happy and away from the Vs. While talking to his dad, Tyler says that he believes it was his fault that his parents split up. His dad assures him that that is not the case and tells Erica they need to tell Tyler the truth about him. What are they hiding? Lisa then shows up to spoil the party because apparently Tyler can't hide.
I liked this episode more then last week's. I thought the action was back up a notch and I was genuinely surprised when Georgie sacrifices himself. I'm curious what Tyler's parents are hiding from him and I wonder if Hobbes can be trusted.
