V - Mother's Day - Season Finale Recap
The Fifth Column are wasting no time in trying to eliminate Anna. The time to act is now. Erica wants Ryan to break Diana out of the ship to help take Anna out. In order for their plan to succeed, they need Lisa. They stage a kidnapping offering Lisa's safety in return for Anna's life. That's just right to the point isn't it? Once Anna tries to save her daughter, they want Lisa to be the one to kill her. Anna has a few tricks up her sleeve. She has her trackers follow the human scent that is with Lisa because her scent has been disguised. Oh no! Save Chad! I'm so worried. I know I hated Chad all along but he's finally starting to grow on me.
Anna goes to "give her life" for her daughter..or at least make it look that way to the human people. She goes inside to free her daughter and turns her back, allowing Lisa to grab her gun. Anna, with her back still turned, notices in a reflection. She immediately summons her best acting skills and feigns emotion and love for her daughter. It works and Lisa doesn't go through with it. Uhoh. Erica and Chad are pissed when Anna walks outside and know immediately that all of their friends up on the ship are in danger. Diana refuses to go back in her underground cave and instead, wants to address her people. Stunned to see her, her children listen to her give a speech but are deprived of the rest of it. Anna shows up halfway through to stab her tail through Diana's heart. Death 1 of the night goes to Diana.
Before Anna can find him, Ryan runs to rescue his daughter. Problem is, she's so brainwashed and in love with Anna that she doesn't want to be saved. Or seen by Ryan. She takes a page out of Anna's book and wraps her tail around Ryan's neck until he dies. Death number 2 goes to Ryan. I can't say I'll miss him, he was kind of annoying. As i'm writing this i'm more worried about my favorites. Erica panics about Tyler being on the ship at such a dangerous time. She calls him and decides on the spot to tell him everything about the V's that she's been keeping from him. Uhohhhh. Because Tyler is such a boob, he doesn't want to believe it unless Lisa herself tells him. Lisa however isn't available to chat.
Anna's Queen egg hatches and her new daughter is born. Anna asks her people to put human skin on her and make her look exactly like Lisa. Eek! Anna imprisons the real Lisa in Diana's former hideout and forces her to watch as Fake Lisa does the deed with Tyler..who apparently doesn't care that he's having sex with a lizard. Tyler why would your mother lie? While Tyler is enjoying himself, Fake Lisa uses her lizard mouth to take a bite out of him. Death number 3? Bye bye Tyler. And good riddance. But I feel bad for Erica who has no idea. Erica is taken by someone in a mask after our two FBI guys catch her on the phone telling Tyler what she knows. She was having a bad day to start with when Hobbes disappears completely and takes the headquarters with him, and she finally admits to Jack how horrible she's been treating him. Yay!! I ship it.
Erica is taken by the leader of Project Aries, special guest Marc Singer. Her FBI friends have been in on it the entire time and this is the last hope for humanity. A secret underground government project against the V's. Good luck because Anna just upped her game. Willing to kill herself to do it, Anna tries to bliss all of humanity. When she is unable to do it, Amy offers to do it for her and succeeds in blissing everyone, including Jack. Oh no! What does this mean for the war? And what's going to happen to Chad now that Anna has discovered he is the one who kidnapped Lisa? And where is Hobbes?
Don't cancel it ABC. I need to know these answers! Even if we get a trimmed down season, I'd be okay with that.
