V: John May - Vcap

Ryan, Erica, and Jack set off to find information about the infamous John May, hoping that it will help them rescue Georgie. What they don't know is that Ryan knows more than he's letting on. In a flashback we see that John May was the first V to ever turn against Ana, and Ryan was sent to kill him. John May leaves his family a fake suicide note and eventually leaves with Ryan who succeeds in his task to kill him. Our group heads to upstate New York to visit John May's stepson James. They're looking for a device that John left behind to contact Joshua on the ship. Ana knows that the 5th column is hard at work so she sends V's as plants to spy and be on the look out for any activity. James' girlfriend happens to be one and alerts the Vs of their presence before Hobbes snaps her neck like a twig. Ouch. They find the device they're looking for but they may have been exposed.

John changed Ryan's life and inspired him to change for the better. He was the start of the 5th column and his death was the start of a revolution. Ryan met Valerie at his funeral. While rummaging through her closet, Valerie discovers a combination safe that Ryan has been hiding from her. Inside are passports, alien sonograms, and some weapons. Things aren't looking too good for Ryan. Valerie is nowhere to be found when Ryan gets home. Where did she go? Did she speed on over to the alien doctor? Will she let Ryan explain?

Ana's pregnancy is moving along and the stress of everything seems to be getting to her. She certainly doesn't look as put together as always. She invites Chad back onto the mothership to interview her and inspire more humans to come live on the ships. I really wouldn't trust her if i was watching that interview. It's very obvious she's avoiding talking about her mistakes. Chad knows something is up (finally) and investigates. For some bizarre reason he lets Ana know that he doesn't trust her before he has anything to even blackmail her with. Idiot. Does he really only want a bigger news story to help make his career?

Lisa showing up unannounced is welcome to Tyler but not to his dad. Mr. Evans isn't happy to see her and rightfully so. She's only there to manipulate and cause trouble. Mr. Evans is set on telling Tyler the truth about why he split up with Erica, and Lisa overhears this conversation. Naturally she runs to tell Tyler who is heartbroken to learn that his dad is not his real father. Erica has never believed it to be true and tries to tell Tyler that tests can be wrong. The odds are against you on this one Erica. I hope for your sake that the test was wrong because it's only going to push Tyler closer to the Vs. Plus, I really like the actor who plays Tyler's dad.

Georgie is barely holding on under the brutal torture of the Visitors. They torture him by putting alien insects under his skin to cause intense physical pain, and cause terrible emotional pain to him by showing him video footage of his family being murdered. That's terrible. Poor Georgie is barely holding on but he never gives in to them. Our group finally gets in touch with him through Joshua and tell him to hold on. He asks to speak to Father Jack to bless him. He's ready to be reunited with his family and asks Joshua to end his life. :( Such a sad scene. I'm gonna miss Georgie.
